JR is a nationally recognized entertainer. He's been seen in theatrical productions, tv, film and even in circuses. JR has performed for governors, professional sports teams, movie stars and even met the President of the United States. As an arts instructor, he has taught the variety arts to various special groups from clubs, schools and universities to huge corporations like Google. His joy in life is found by bringing happiness to others and sharing his love of laughter.
Though JR is based in St. Louis Missouri he performs events nationally.
Long Bio
JR is a nationally recognized entertainer, and
a founding member of the performing troupe, Circus Kaput. As well as
being an exceptional hypnotist Josh is an accomplished magician,
juggler, sideshow performer and acrobat. He has performed in 42 states.
In
1993 at the age of 15 JR began performing the event
company Lefton Promotions. He traveled the country for Lefton until
2001. With Lefton is where he first fell in love with Hypnosis shows
after working many events with exceptional Hypnotist Mark Crank. Soon
after he formed his own show.
Joshua has performed with The
New Pickle Circus, The San Francisco Youth Circus, The Famous Reynold’s
Circus, The St. Louis Shakespeare Festival and many others. In 2004 he
was a featured artist for Major League Baseball’s World Series gala. He
has also performed for the St. Louis Blues Hockey Team, The St. Louis
Rams Football Team, Missouri Governor Matt Blunt, San Francisco mayors
Gavin Newsom and Willie Brown. In 1998 he even did a magic trick for
President Bill Clinton.
JR has been on the small screen in TV
commercials for Maxwell House, Ameren UE, H & R Block, and many
others. He has been featured on the TV shows ‘Best of California’ and
‘House Calls’. Also, he has been seen on NBC, FOX, ABC, PBS and UPN. He
was also featured in the film ‘Class Clowns’.
